Welcome to a place of understanding

Support and Connection After Murder- Suicide Loss

Impacted Survivors of Murder Suicide is a survivor led organization offering virtual peer support groups for individuals and families impacted by murder-suicide. We exist to ensure that those living with this loss are met with understanding and connection.

When isolation feels heavy

Many survivors feel alone in ways that are hard to put into words. The circumstances of this loss can leave people unsure where they belong. Peer support offers space to speak openly, to be heard without judgment, and to connect with others who understand.

When grief feels complicated

Murder suicide loss can bring shock, anger, love, confusion, and sorrow all at once. The emotions surrounding this kind of loss are often layered and difficult to explain. There is no right way to carry it, and no expectation that your experience should look like anyone else’s.

When you are ready to move forward

Moving forward does not mean forgetting what happened. It means allowing space for meaning, connection, and moments of steadiness to return. With support and time, it is possible to live forward while honoring this loss.

Your donation is more than a gift—it’s a lifeline.

When you give to ISMS, you provide critical support to survivors of murder-suicide as they navigate trauma, grief, and the stigma that often follows. Your generosity helps offer safe spaces, healing resources, and community. Together, we can raise awareness, restore hope, and remind survivors they are not alone.
